The NPBI 2022/23 program year has drawn to a close with this year's graduation ceremony being held in person at the University of Alberta for the first time since the start of the pandemic. Each student was given the opportunity to showcase the project they completed with their board to the public.
It was here that our youth board member, Justine, gave an excellent presentation of her project with us, she chose to create a Youth Programming Policies & Procedures (NPBI & Y@TT) Youth On-Boarding Process.
Through the program, Justine regularly attended workshops such as Board Roles & Responsibilities, Organization Purpose & Planning, and Financial Responsibilities where she later had the opportunity to apply knowledge from those workshops to our board.
We would like to give a huge thank you to Justine it was a sincere joy to have had her join us this year!
