The Heartbeat of the Aquatic Biosphere
The Aquatic Biosphere Project is in need of volunteers. If you would like to be a part of something amazing, look no further than here.
There are long term opportunities within committees, short-term project based opportunities, as well as general event and administrative openings.

Did you Know?
A 2021 study discovered Beluga whales consume almost 140,000 pieces of plastic per year. The number one cause of harm to marine life is choking and blockages.

Shoreline cleanups are easy and have a huge impact. We joined Alberta Underwater Council in 2019 and recorded almost 55kg of trash removed. Our volunteers helped record and report on the data.

Spring cleanups are being planned around the city. Sign up as a volunteer and join us. Keep plastics out of our rivers, and out of our oceans.
