Riley Martens

Riley’s connection to water runs deep. It began in childhood, wading through the creek near his grandparents’ home, catching minnows and flipping over rocks in search of aquatic bugs. That early curiosity sparked a lifelong appreciation for aquatic ecosystems and the vital role they play in our world. Today, Riley is passionate about helping others discover that same sense of wonder through the Aquatic Biosphere’s mission.
With over a decade of experience in agriculture, marketing, and business development, Riley has held leadership roles across several organizations, including the recently his own consulting business. A former Agriculture Biotechnology student, he now holds an MBA in Marketing Management from the Australian Institute of Business and is a designated Chartered Manager (C.Mgr).
Riley is excited to combine his professional expertise with a personal passion—creating opportunities for people of all ages to connect with nature, learn about water, and feel inspired to protect it.
